This Department facilitates the documentation and dissemination of research findings to make research results accessible to all end-users. The Department ensures access to research information within the GHS and facilitates dissemination of new findings.

In addition, the Department coordinates availability and use of health information including research and routine information for the advancement of policy process and programme priority setting. The Department is also responsible for ensuring interactions and connectedness at all levels using new information technologies. The Department currently has three Units – Documentation unit, Dissemination unit and Advocacy unit.
