Kintampo Health Research Centre (KHRC)
Kintampo Health Research Centre is a well-established African-based health research centre located in the middle belt of Ghana at Kintampo in the Bono East region. KHRC is one of three health research centres of the Research and Development Division (RDD) of Ghana Health Service established in 1994. The health research centre is committed to carrying out scientific research which in all its variant forms from basic, biomedical, clinical to translational and public health, contributes significantly toward improving people’s health, minimizing burden of disease, containing healthcare cost, and, more importantly, improving quality of life.
